SOC Bloggers Challenge: Use Your Stash--Metals

Hi everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! I got a little Spring Cleaning done, and worked on a couple of much needed projects around the house. I even got to watch a little March Madness, but my team went home...I'm still hurt about it, so let's move on to our newest Bloggers Challenge! At the end of 2014, I asked participants in the challenges for suggestions on what they like to see this year, and wow, did you deliver!! Thank you so much for your support and your suggestions--we got so many new ideas!!

Today is the debut of what I think and hope will be a fun and helpful challenge as we move forward! Along with our themed challenges, this year we're digging DEEP, DEEP...into those stashes of craft supplies to use those things we all have, but don't use as often as we would like with a "Use Your Stash" challenge! This week's challenge is all about the "Heavy Metal:"



 

Brads, Eyelets, and Other Metal Things

So the challenge this week is to create anything you'd like, as long as it has some kind of metal incorporated into the design!! Scrapbook pages, cards, altered/mixed media art--You name it!! Once you finish your creation and post it to your blog, add a direct link to your creations in the comment section below, to the Bloggers Challenge forum over on SOC, or in the gallery so we can stop by to see what you've posted! Then come back in two weeks to see if your project is featured here along with the new theme!

 

As mentioned earlier, I hope this will be a fun challenge, that will help you use up some of those metal embellishments! Before you go, I'd love to hear what other things you "collect" that you would love to use more of--you never know, maybe we can post that as a future "Use Your Stash" challenge! I can't wait to hear your responses!
