Graduation season is just around the corner. In our house, we have two graduations within
a one month period. My daughter
graduates in two weeks and my son graduates in four weeks. Add to that my nephew’s graduation, which is
the same week as my son’s, and you will see that we are in full graduation
preparation.
I wanted to make a
simple album for each of them to remind them of their graduation. Since my
daughter and I have already done her cap and gown portraits, I used a few of
those to do a mini album to display at her graduation party and then give to
her after the party. I used a cut file
from the silhouette store to make my album, but you can use any mini album
template or simply use your cutter to make the album.
My particular album has pages that accommodate 4 x 6 photos
in a sleeve. I also left several pages
blank to allow for photographs that are printed in other sizes and to add
personalization to the pages.
This type album can also be made to give to grandmothers for
Mother’s day of all the grand kids. I hope this idea inspires you to celebrate
the graduate in your family with a special album. I would love to see what you create.
