Hi my name is Chalese and I am so honored to be apart of this amazing team!! We live in cold Minnesota the land of snow and ICE!! Yes, it is very cold and our winters last at least 7 months. Why do we live here?? When I figure it out I'll let you know!! LOL Anywho I am married to wonderful Mr. Knight and we have four children, two college bound and Gabby 12 and Stormy 6! My family brings me so much joy. I am thankful to God to have chosen me to take care of them. What brings me true happiness is family and my soy latte(a must have EVERYDAY)!!!
You know I often think about my scrapbook style? It takes me about 4 hours to complete JUST two layouts! Yes, ladies I am a slow poke when it comes to creating. Any suggestion on how I can speed up this process? Really anything would HELP. I love my little bug aka Cricut! I use this little baby on almost all of my projects, along with paint and misting. I love everything about scrapbooking. I find joy and peace in this art form.

Alot of my scrappy girlfriends swear by making pagekits. I have seen them in action and it takes them no time in completing a page. Maybe also making sure you are organized. I know I am GUILTY for spending more time scrambling and looking for stuff than spending time on a page. Your pages are beautiful! =)
ReplyDeleteI can't give you any tips on making things go faster ... cause I sometimes take DAYS - it just all depends on when the inspiration hits me. That said - your pages are BEAUTIFUL!!!

Chalese, I'm notoriously slow too, but since I'm not running a race I've given up on worrying about it. Your pages are fabulous so I wouldn't worry either. :)

Hi Chalese! Great LOs. As you see MANY of us are slow poke scrappers. I have every intention on completing a challenge, but the time I'm finished with my LO, the challenge is well over. Usually because I'm unorganized or fifty home duty things come up. I do like using page kits or preprinted LO pages, though.

I've only completed 1 scrapbook for my boyfriends mother but I have several scrapbooks in the making that I have to find time to work on. Looking forward to this journey with E:spire. Merry Xmas!
ReplyDelete2 layouts. 4 hours. That sounds about right or maybe just a bit faster than me! LOL! I've never cared about the time it takes me to scrapbook...I'm quite slow. However, I enjoy the process and the results and that's all the matters. You create beautiful pages. Enjoy your creative time.
