What are your New Year’s Resolutions?

Happy New Year!!!

I am still amazed how fast this past year has rolled by. Now it’s time to think about New Year’s Resolutions- What will we do more of? What will we change? What will we do better? In 2011, I will create more, share more, use more of my stash, buy less, and enjoy Life as much as possible. I think that is a good start. We always start out with good intentions…LOL!!

Day 3 of the New Year and I am still following through-Using my stash and making great use of my scraps. I created this little card with scraps from my scrap bin. The sentiment, “Wishing you a Fabulous Day” by Papertrey Ink is so appropriate for this time of year. We are sending Wishes to so many of our family and friends. So, today I am wishing you a Fabulous day -Today and Always…

Wishing You…by Karen Jiles. Supplies - Patterned Paper: K and Co; Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Stamps: Papertrey Ink & Stampin’ Up!; Ink: Tim Holtz & Stampin’ Up!; Ribbon: Stampin’ Up!; Flowers: Prima.

So, what are your New Year’s Resolutions? What will you do more of? What will you do better in 2011? Please share…

  1. Good Morning and Happy New Year!! I don't make resolutions, but I started the New Year off the way I want to be for 2011. Painting. I have vowed to paint everyday like I used to - even if it's 10 minutes in an art journal. I love your card, and I too am a true believer in using my scraps.

  2. Happy New Year to you too!! I don't make resolutions, but some of my scrapbooking goals are to scrapbook more in 2011, try to keep current with my photos taken this year, use something from my stash on every layout and participate more on the message boards I belong to. I also starteed a blog http://gemscraps.blogspot.com

  3. Karen that card is simply beautiful! Can't believe it came from your stash. As for 2011, I'll be focusing on simplifying things. More organization, more de-cluttering, less spending and less accumulation of "stuff." My scrapping goals are simply to keep getting with friends to scrap and to attend as many crops as I'm able to!

  4. My resolution is to limit my purchases, make use of what I have and if not, move it on to someone that can. Amassing the stash is not fun if you can't share the wealth or the joy it brings.
