Summertime Fun!

June 20th is the official start of summer if you're going by the calendar date...but if you live in the south like I do, it probably already feels like summer since we've been having temperatures in the high 80's and 90's for weeks now.

So what better way to kick off the summer than summer vacations and traveling? This summer I have a couple of stateside trips planned that includes visiting my sister in Wisconsin, visiting family and friends in Michigan with a scrapbook retreat weekend and a family reunion in Florida.

All of my travel plans starts next week, just in time for the first day of summer. Below I created a layout of the states I'm visiting using a mix of older embellishments and fun new summer patterned papers.

Pack your bags & Hit the road by Tena Ellison. Supplies - Patterned Paper:
We R Memory Keepers, Simple Stories; Travel Embellishments: K & Co., MAMBI;
Canvas Sticker Words: Little Yellow Bicycle; Ink: Close To My Heart; Ribbon: Hobby Lobby;
State Postcard Images: Courtesy of Internet.

How are you spending your summer months this year? Whether you're traveling stateside, going abroad or just enjoying a nice relaxing staycation; I hope you have fun and remember to do something creative!

**Tip: If you don't have a photo or personal image to use on your page or project try searching the internet for one...just make sure that the images are free to download.
