Twine, Twine and more Twine!

Baker's twine is a hot trend in scrapbooking and paper crafts right now. You see it on scrapbook layouts, cards and other craft projects.

It's so versatile, easy to use, reasonable priced and it comes in many, many colors. So I thought I would use it to make some fun embellishments for my layout below. I outlined the hot air balloon and my title banner using twine and made little twine circles accents for my page. I also used it on my journaling tag.

Up and away by Tena Ellison. Supplies - Patterned Paper: American Crafts,
Antique Paperie by Colorbok; Cardstock: Bazzill Basic; Twine: Doodledbug Design Inc.;
Die Cuts: Cricut & Graphically Speaking cartridge; Punch: Martha Stewart; Title Font:
MS Learning cursive; Aleene's tacky glue pen.

This was a quick layout to put together and the twine just added some fun and colorful elements. With all the bright colors of summer it's a great time to try using twine on your next paper project!

**Tip for twine circles** to keep the twine from unraveling while adhering to cardboard, tie a know at the end and start at the center of your cardboard circle.
