I have to admit

...these past couple of weeks have been a bit trying on my nerves and patience! Both our incomes (the DH and I) have been affected by this Government Shutdown, and as we continue to work for free and try to make ends meet while they play chicken with our lives, all we can do is pray…for ourselves, our government and our Nation!

So, I’ve been putting my thoughts in a happier place! Memories that keep me smiling and give me hope. Making memories with my sisters makes me happy and being able to create with them is a desire we’ve been trying to do for a long time now. I know my sister Sheka is coming to the upcoming SOC Crop Retreat coming up in March. I am so excited!  I hope her hubby, my other sister and a family friend can come along. I think a couple of my Tennessee sistahs are in for the ride, too!  I could jump out my skin right now!!! Hurry up and get here March!!!

    SHOPPING!!!

As I look at some of the photos from the last crop I remember all the fun we had, and the peace and rest I received, and how I met some very nice SOC Sistahs! We worked on our albums, cards and pages; played games, danced, ate, shopped, shared…and much more! Just reminiscing about doing everything around these creative women brings a smile to my face and puts joy in my heart. Great memories!

I’ll be working on finishing up my Disney Album at the crop. It’s an 8x8 album that I purchased at Disneyworld.  I think I like working on this one when I go away to crops because the pictures bring back such great memories and that brings out the creative in me because it’s so colorful and it was our first real family vacation! Love those photos!

I need these memories! I need the people, places, and things that make up these memorable times and I can’t wait to make MORE!!!

What memories make you smile?  How do YOU capture those memories?

Have a great day and remember to…
...Let Memories Inspire YOU!
