Opportunities for 'Mini' Inspirations

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  It's time for Pink Sunday, Races/Runs/Walks, and programs.  Here's an opportunity for 'Mini Inspirations' with a tutorial.  It's a sweet keepsakes and inspirational mini they can open again and again and again.  Our Young Women Association is responsible for filling our Breast Cancer survivors bags with sweet BCA momentums.  My crafty contibution will be this sweet 'Mini Inspiration'.  So for all Breast Cancer Survivors who have just been diagosed, going through the process or in remission.....HUGS to you!

This 'mini' is made out of one 12x12 sheet.  These pretty papers are from Crate Paper and what I will be using for the other minis.  I chose this pack, because it's full of pink hues.
This is the 12x12 paper I'm starting with for the above mini inspiration.
Use your bone folder and fold in half, which is 6 inches.  Your measurement should be 6in x 12in.
Then use your bone  folder and fold at 3 in.  You should have four folds. Each fold measurement is 3in x 6in.
At the top of each fold make it creative.  I used my edge punch for one and I tore one.
At the top of this fold I used my Creative Memories circle punch.
At the top of this one I took out those decorative scissors I've been hoarding and cut one.
This is how it looks.  Focus at the top. After you've altered the top, put some tacky tape (thin red tape) on the edges of the paper not the entire 6 in cut.  The edges of the front side where it was altered.
LOVE ribbon and there are so many shades and styles.  You can use ribbon or fiber for the tags, but you will need ribbon to tie the mini together.
The tags are cute at 3 1/2in x 5 3/4in.  I punched a hole at the top for ribbon/fiber and cut the corners with my Creative Memories corner rounder. You don't have to use a corner rounder, but it's easy to pull the tags in and out for me. A flourished stamp and four different scripture stamps were used.  That's where the inspiration comes in!
Don't you feel inspired?  You can use the front and back.  LOVE the ribbon. (Love & polka dots)
This is my little bag of pink.  Yes remember this, because you're going to see it again later this month during our blog hop.  You don't want to miss out on the fun!  This is how I organize my scraps from different projects.  If it's a little of this and a little of that I file it color coordinated. That's a little tip for you.  : )
Now this is how it looks opened.  Don't you think the receiver will be inspired!?
This is the final look....All Wrapped Up with 'Mini Inspirations'!   Be inspired to create yours.
