Back in 2012, our SOC founder, Classygirl introduced a wonderful feature highlighting bloggers that are active online and in the the SOC community. This popular feature is back, continuing to spotlight inspiring sistah bloggers who update regularly with wonderful creative projects.
Our first featured blogger of 2014 is Treva Perry. She is very active on Scraps of Color and in the Blogger Challenges. However, Treva also keeps it fresh on her blog by sharing a great variety of cards, scrapbook pages, and more every week. Join me as we learn more about this great sistah blogger.
Name: Treva Perry
Family: My immediate family includes my husband, an adult son and a 13 year old daughter.
How did you get bitten by the papercrafting bug? I started seriously papercrafting about seven years ago when my daughter was in kindergarten. I've always liked to take a lot of pictures so I just decided to do something with them besides just putting them in albums. I really enjoy it but it requires a lot of time, space, and money.

Name three of your go-to goodies in your craft tools/supplies stash. Pictures, paper, adhesive and embellishments. I know that's four but with those items I can create, although I have and use machines both electronic and manual, its not a requirement!

What are your favorite projects to create and share on your blog? I can't say that I have a favorite, but I do enjoy sharing about my children (well mostly my daughter) since she is the one person that I scrap mostly. Although I have recently started making more cards, I don't particularly care for card making. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the fact that I haven't mastered the whole coloring concept.
