Fabulous Fathers Challenge

Can you believe it?...Its June. JUNE!

Already! 

When I think of June a few things that come to mind, Juneteeth, my grandfathers birthday and of course Fathers Day. 

Lets' take a moment and honor the Fabulous Fathers in our lives.

Today I would like to honor my husband by sharing his mini me!  His relationship with Jonathen is pretty remarkable. Not only are they super close they are often mistaken for one another on the  telephone but not in person....his "little" boy is a towering 6'4"!

Unlike most of my layouts I had the picture already in mind for this.  Shocker!  I pulled together my color scheme but was still uncertain of my accent color.  

I layered down my base layers and title.  If you are working with  a bold or large geometric print break it up with complementary patterned papers.

 I narrowed down my journaling to three of what I thought were the most impactful life changing memories that they've shared on 3 x 4 cards

I decided to bring in the Crimson Cardstock to add a pops of color and to ground the journaling cards as  did in the title.   Next, I added my bits and pieces.  Here's a close up of each journaling card.
