Hello,
fellow crafters. I hope you are enjoying
this wonderful holiday season!
Today,
I’m featuring a layout made entirely from scraps. Yes, that’s right. All of these elements are from the 12x12
baggie that I keep for my scraps. Now, I
don’t save everything. Just something
that either I like the pattern/color or am convinced I can actually use
somewhere down the line. Lots of
leftovers from cardstock sticker sheets in that bag.
I
had these last few photos from a food tour we did in Miami. These are from a fabulous Cuban ice cream
shop. I wanted to do something different
with them. I looked in my scraps bag
and found a little baggie of plastic stars from a kit club. I remember at the time I received them thinking
“what in the world would I do with these.”
Well, here it is!
I
simply sprinkled the stars down the length of the page and, using my tweezers,
glued them in place where they fell. It
probably took 5 minutes. I love, love,
love how it turned out! Simple and
festive – just what I was going for.
This would be a great technique for a holiday/celebration layout. Give it a try.
Happy Holidays!
