Documenting December

Season Greetings!
December is here and I hope you plan on capturing every minute of it.  Too busy, too overwhelmed, too much month than money!  Those can be all the feeling we feel during the month of December and we begin not to enjoy it.  Let me propose this...Document your December!

There are several ways including December  Daily, Journal your Christmas or create your own.
Too busy try these:
-Write on a 3 x 4 card every day and file it
-Take one photo a day-once December it over print it or make a digital album
-Have your family each take a turn a write something every day
-You can do it!
This is my second year documenting my  December mixing Journal Your Christmas with my own ideas.   I purchased my supplies last year and alas the season is upon us...did I say I was ready.

To tackle this busy month with ease here's my plan
Keep all your Christmas delights together
Use a smaller album-8 x 8 Album(So much fun last year used three 6 x 8 albums just for one Month!)
Uniform your Dates-Thickers, handwritten, date stamp

My Collections this year is Santa's List by Theresa Collins.  (I purchase my Christmas Collections the year before when they are marked down:))

I adore little tags, boxes and different size pages...nothing is off limits.  Here I embossed a bag off center so I can hole punch and the bag and add it as a page

Bits and Bob-I wanted to add some brads and banners  to bring out page more.

My dates will be date stamped this year for uniformity.  I also added snowflake veneers to play off of the snowflakes on the file folder.

After printing my Manifesto I rounded the corners

Fil in the rest of my embellishments and added my title.  I often like to cut out my titles 3 times for more depth and texture.

Yup you can stamp right on your wood veneers.

Inside is where I have placed my journaling and added a few more stamps.

A close up of what December means to me.

Day one is complete!

Supplies: Theresa Collins Santa's List, Michaels Wood veneers, Michaels Stamps, My Minds Eye All is Bright Brads, embossing powder and Silhouette Cameo.

Happy December and Merry Christmas!
