Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well! I'm stopping in with a new bloggers challenge! This time, it is a "This or That" theme--meaning that you have TWO great themes to pick from! Can you guess from the pictures posted below? Our themes are:
Mardi Gras ~OR~ Masks and Stencils!
It's Mardi Gras season, so go wild with this challenge! There are many ways to work with this one--use it as a color challenge with the purple, green, and gold! Or approach it as "anything goes" by using masks, stencils, fleur de lis, beading and more on your scrapbook pages, cards and mixed media/altered art projects!! And if you have a drawn image wearing a "mask," that counts too!
After you finish your creation and post it to your blog, add a direct link to your creations in the comment section below, to the Bloggers Challenge forum over on SOC, or in the gallery so we can find your creations easily! From all of the projects posted, you will have the opportunity to have your creation/blog featured here, and on the SOC Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter pages! (Please note that only blogs with the SOC Badge displayed will be posted.)
I can just FEEL the fun y'all will have with this Mardi Gras theme! But before you get started, take a look at some wonderful projects from our Valentine's Day challenge:
First, Lois made this awesome card in support of women's heart health!
Love the design and the message behind it.
Mama Rose shared her art journaling creation over in the Blogger's Challenge forum!
Danita created these cute Valentine's Day treats!
Be sure to stop by her blog to see how she made them.
Finally, Kimberly shared this adorable layout over in the forum as well!
I really like all the layers and mix of patterns!
I want to thank these ladies for participating in the Valentine's Day challenge! I was really inspired by all of the creations, and hope you've seen lots of crafty inspiration for your last minute V-day projects! I hope that you'll Laissez les bons temps rouler (Let the good times roll!) with your Mardi Gras projects! Come and join in! Have a great week, and Happy Crafting!
Thanks NC Peach for these challenges. I have every intention of participating when I look at them while at work, but by the time I get home my mind is fried and I forget.
ReplyDeleteTo the ladies who participated in Valentine’s Day challenge – Great job, thanks for sharing your beautiful pieces.
You're welcome Lisa! I understand about crafty intentions--lots of projects, not enough time! But don't worry, this challenge is designed so you can participate when you get the chance! So feel free to join in when time and energy permits! =)
