Pretty Packaging

Packaging is EVERYTHING.  I love to receive purchases wrapped or packaged beautifully.  It makes my heart sing and makes me remember that item or seller.  I was asked to partner with a photographer friend of mine and deliver that same experience.  The request was to make a custom CD cover for pictures taken at an event.  I said coming right up!  The event: A jungle themed baby shower!

First up! make the CD cover.  Since I don't have CD's anymore due the wonderment of digital technology I receive a CD a month from a ministry I support.  I used that as a template and added a cover so that it would open like a door.

Then I gathered my supplies.  I used little bits and bobs, I really need to get more baby booty!

I began to layer the pieces to make the front and inside cover.

Lets put it all together..and guess who found her jungle themed brads...me me!

What a fun little project that added a special memorable touch for the recipient.  Memory keeping that's what its all about!

Supplies: Papertrey Ink Cardstock, Fiskars Stamps, Quickutz, Distress Ink, Big Shot
Toodles!

  3. Love the idea. This is also a great way to store those extra photos we have from layouts. Great sleeve to put them in. TFS.
