A Little Holiday Treat

Hello Everyone.. I want to say "Happy Thanksgiving" to you all. I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving with Family, Friends and love ones..
As I post my projects soo late in the month, I thought I would share a project that can be used to get a jump start on your Christmas projects.  I want to share a "fun" little Holiday Treat and Tutorial with you all today.. I have to confess that with the holidays, and the kids, being out of school, my post was a little rush to put together..

I did something similar like this last year, for the residents at my job. It's a simple little Gum holder. It took 'no' time at all to put together. They are great for dinner parties, as a after dinner treat, co-workers, and or teachers gifts. You can get these from Costco or Sams club in the bulk packs, at a great price.

Here is what I started with. you can see I am showing a completed one.
Card stock was cut at 6 7/8 X 3 5/8. I scored the card stock at 2 1/2 X 2 3/4 and then again at 5 1/4 X 5 5/8. my DP ( 2 pieces) are cut at 2 1/2 X 3 5/8.
My images are a sheet of these sweet little tags that I got, I printed them and colored with my Prisma Pencils and OMS>. then I cut them out with my 2" circle punch. and my scallop nesti punch.
Here is a shot showing my score lines.
This is what it looks like after I have attached the DP.
I used some 2 sided tape on the back of the gum to hold it down with.
And here is what it looks like completed..
These really Took me NO time at all. You can cut all of your card stock and DP (which is opitional).. and then once your images is colored you can just sit and make up as much as you want.  I wanted to share the site where I purchased my tags from.. Now I did purchase these tags, But again. I made something like it last year and for those tags. I used the "Freebies" that was provided. Here is the Link to the Store.. make sure you hop over and look for the "freebie" page,

I hope you get some great ideas to kick of your holiday season.. If you have any questions about the measurements or anything else please let me know as I did "rush" through this pretty quickly.

Happy Scrapping,

Sharette
