Hello Beautiful People!
Let me start off by saying my official Happy New Year! I hope
it is a good one thus far. If nothing else, it is definitely a cold one! January
for me is full of birthdays; MLK’s birthday is this month, several family members and
my hubby’s! Today I want to share the birthday card I made for hubby.
Anyone who knows me knows I like to do 10 minute or less
cards. For those who don’t, about a year ago, I challenged myself to this
because I was spending too much time on one card AND I needed a card in a
hurry! This “challenge” has been a blessing really!
On this card, I used two patterns from the Bo Bunny Snowfall
6x6 paper collection. I also used a scrap piece of Vintage Cream Paper Trey Ink cardstock
to stamp the sentiment and as a shadow to the banner. I colored white brads and
clear buttons with Copic Markers to match the colors in the pattern paper. I love
to do this because Copics are an alcohol based marker and it is permanent! So if
you can’t find the exact color, try using a marker!
I hope you like and will try out a 10 minute or less card on
your own. You may be pleasantly surprised with the results! Thank you so much
for stopping by, Kenya~
Besides coloring images, what do you like to use your Copic
markers for?
I've changed the colors with glimmer mist, but not copics. Great idea! Love the design
ReplyDeleteHello friend! I never used Glimmer Mist...I have used Smooch. I will have to give that technique a try. Thanks for sharing~
DeleteNice masculine card! I don't have Copics so I use Sharpies or BIC Mark-It's to color buttons and bling.
ReplyDeleteA great masculine card
