By now, many of us
are busy making (or buying) cards, making dinner reservations and coming up with all sorts of other
ways to honor our loved ones on February 14th. I will also be making a special effort to let
those that I care about know that they are loved dearly! But today, I want to share a little bit of a
different kind of valentine that I try to incorporate all throughout the year –
a layout devoted to a special person.
Most scrapbookers
know that wonderful “oh, you did one about me!” response when you share your
layouts and albums. I’ve found that
adults – maybe even more than children -- LOVE to see themselves in our
pages! So, why not make a special point
to include them?
The “year-round Valentine”
I’m sharing in this post is a layout I did of a successful project completion
by my husband. It was a long and
challenging project, but the outcome was superb! He received such praise and appreciation –
and I was so glad to be there to hear it first-hand!
Done! by Moanica
Caston. Patterned Paper, Stickers, and
Buttons: Crate Paper; Color Mist: Mister Huey’s; Alphas: Basic Grey Chip Stickers.
So, don’t forget those “non-traditional” valentines. Show
them you love them all year long! The
response you get may be as excited as if you’d given them a box of
chocolates! Happy Valentine’s Day!

Love how you captured the memory. I can see it in a frame!
ReplyDeleteMoanica, another great layout and I love your take on a layout devoted to a special person. You are so right, people always seem honored to be included in one of my layouts.
ReplyDeleteGreat layout, love the year-round valentine idea!
