A Different Kind of Valentine!

By now, many of us are busy making (or buying) cards, making dinner reservations and coming up with all sorts of other ways to honor our loved ones on February 14th.  I will also be making a special effort to let those that I care about know that they are loved dearly!  But today, I want to share a little bit of a different kind of valentine that I try to incorporate all throughout the year – a layout devoted to a special person.

Most scrapbookers know that wonderful “oh, you did one about me!” response when you share your layouts and albums.  I’ve found that adults – maybe even more than children -- LOVE to see themselves in our pages!  So, why not make a special point to include them?

The “year-round Valentine” I’m sharing in this post is a layout I did of a successful project completion by my husband.  It was a long and challenging project, but the outcome was superb!  He received such praise and appreciation – and I was so glad to be there to hear it first-hand!  e He

Done! by Moanica Caston.  Patterned Paper, Stickers, and Buttons:  Crate Paper;   Color Mist: Mister Huey’s;  Alphas: Basic Grey Chip Stickers.

So, don’t forget those “non-traditional” valentines.  Show them you love them all year long!  The response you get may be as excited as if you’d given them a box of chocolates!  Happy Valentine’s Day!
