Happy July 2013!

It's July!  Summer is in full swing and our crafting continues to bloom.  It's the month of independence and fireworks.  It's the start of something new.

This month, I thought I'd share just a bit of 4th of July inspiration.  I actually made the above layout sometime ago. However, today it still makes me smile.  With my camera on the right setting, well actually having a camera that takes great "night time" photos, makes it easy to get good night time shots.  Unfortunately, the newer model of this camera does not sport the feature.  Therefore, for now I will just cherish my night time photos from days gone by, until I get another camera, which I will be sure takes great images at night.  Check out the awesome fireworks photos! Not only do those photos make me smile but the memories of spending the 4th of July on St. Simon's Island with my friend Angie light up my face with a smile, every time.

This card is the only 4th of July creation so far this year.  It may be the only one.  Not sure we are doing anything special this year.  We'll see.  I had a great time, playing with various mediums on this card.

Supplies used: Gesso, Distress Stain, Jolee's Hearts and Stars, May Arts Ribbons, Distress ink, Rub ons and Twine
