Make your own 2014 calendar

Happy New Year!
If you're like me you've already received about 3 or 4 calendars, but the one I'm sharing is altered paper bags full of ideas to keep photos & momentums for you to scrapbook your memories. It also serves as a calendar so you can organize all that you store by month in each pocket. My  god sister had a little girl and her mother started the process of 'buying' everything to create her wedding scrapbook and...the rest is history. Its all still in the box. I'm sending this to my god sister to document & store everything in it to make it easy for me to make little Marley's first scrapbook.  It also includes index cards to help with journaling. Let me warn you this post is overloaded with photos, because I want you to see each month.

I want to give a shout out to www.clementinecreative.co.za for the free printable calendars! Twelve paper bags were folded so the front can be a pocket measuring 4.75x5.75. The calendar pages were embellished with odds & ends around my scrap room . The holes at the top were punched with a two hole punch. After attaching the holes with binder clips, assorted ribbon & fiber were added for baby girl.
