SOC Blogger's Challenge: A Taste of the Orient

Hi everyone! Cheryl here, hoping everyone had a great weekend! I would also like to take a moment to thank everyone who came out for last week's Scraps of Color Anything Goes Blogger Challenge! There were a lot of great projects posted on all the participating blogs! If you didn't have the chance to participate in the challenge, view last week's post and/or the entries for that challenge, stop by here to see links to everyone's creations!

Now with a new week comes a new challenge! This week our theme is:

A Taste of the Orient

The Chinese New Year begins this Friday, January 31st, so the challenge this week is to use Asian-inspired elements on your scrapbook pages, cards, and mixed or altered projects! Some of those elements include lanterns, Chinese characters, or the color red! But the possibilities are endless, so allow your creativity to run free!!

Just as our participants did last week, share a direct link in the comments below. Please link to the exact post, and not just to your blog. This will allow us to easily find and share your creations with everyone! Remember, all of the participating bloggers have the opportunity to have your projects featured here or on the SOC Pinterest, Facebook, and Twitter Pages! For that chance, be sure to 1) Have the SOC Badge posted on your blog, AND  2) Share your link in our new gallery

There's gonna be some beautiful creations for this challenge! I can feel it! I hope you'll be inspired to create, post, and "hop" with us this week! Happy Chinese New Year to all of you, and Happy Crafting!
