Beat the Heat...Make a Fan

I'm an emotional roller coaster this morning and a little late posting my creation for you today.  It started to be a simple altered fan to beat the heat.  Well I'm going back to the family church in Somerville, TN when it was hot, but it didn't matter because everyone was in the spirit and you had a fan to cool off.  Do you remember that or am I the only one in her 50's. lol  This brings me to my post today.  My mind reflected back to family and those who have gone on to glory as I started to make the fan.  It will be given to my oldest and dearest aunt of the family on my maternal side affectionately known by me as "Auntie Granny".  Her name is Mary Elizabeth Jones Wilson.

Recipe ingredients:
Robert Jackson image
Copic Markers
Prima lace and bling
Martha Stewart edge punch
Word Art Wednesday - scripture
Hancock Fabrics lace

Sheet music from my church program

Close up  Word Art Wednesday scripture - III John 1:2

Close up of her hat, but it can't touch the hat she's wearing.
My inspiration for the fan!  We visited Temple of Delieverance COGIC. I love spending quality time with her.    My mother's oldest sister...91 years young and known by her hats, sweet spirit, baking, preserving, visiting the nursing home and giving everyone advise.  I think this fan may be in demand.

So tell me when you alter or create a project do you have someone in mind?  Where does your inspiration come from?
