One of my goals is to make more
cards. (Stop laughing, Tiare!) No, really.
I have received some beautiful hand-made cards recently and my joy and
pleasure in receiving them is something I want to pass along. As a papercrafter, I know the time, attention
and effort that go into making them. And
I should be spreading that enjoyment!
I thought I’d start with a simple “thank
you” card. It’s a sentiment that we don’t
share nearly enough. If you think about
it, there is probably someone right now that you should express gratitude
towards.
I received a really nice 6x6 paper
pack as a gift and thought it might be great for cards. I tried to think of the card surface as a “mini”
layout and included all the elements I normally would: patterned paper, embellishments and, of
course, Thickers! I love the sparkly brads
I pulled from WAAAY back in my stash.
Thank You by Moanica Caston. Cardstock: Bazzill Basics; Patterned Paper:
American Crafts; Floral title sticker:
Crate Paper; Brads: My Mind’s Eye; Border punch: EK Success; Butterfly punch:
Martha Stewart; Alphas: American Crafts Thickers.
I think I’m off to a pretty good
start. Can’t wait to see where my
cardmaking takes me!
