Trimming the Tree

Do you have your tree up yet?  I had mine up the week after Thanksgiving all decorated, but I’ve always wanted to play around with ornament decorating.  So while putting back some Christmas décor, I found some craft glass ornaments my mother gave me a couple of  years ago and finally decided to put them to the test.
This is my tree

A few ingredients in my recipe

Rudolph ornament

Poinsetta ornament

Snowflake ornament

A touch of color ornament

Gift wrapped ornament

Reindeer ornament

12 ornaments for my tree!

Can you see the Snowflake, Rudolph and Reindeer ornaments on the tree?

The ornaments were filled with micro beads, tinsel and bells.   I embellished them with ribbon, 3D stickers and flowers all from my stash.  Got to love using the scraps huh?  I think I'll make a few next year for stocking stuffers! So tell me what you think! Be honest. Your comments are greatly appreciated.

From Scraps to Holiday Stocking Stuffers

While most are focused on planning their Thanksgiving dinners, crafters are usually focusing on crafting for Christmas. With funds being limited for everyone these days - quick handmade gifts can fill friends and families stockings...for very little money. Mini composition books are the perfect gift to give for every age and gender on your list.

These books are easily found at Target, Walmart - even the dollar store.
Not only can you make these books in under an hour, it's a great way to get rid of all those scraps you've been saving.

These little books are perfect gifts for your neighbors, co-workers, the students in your life ... anyone who still loves to jot down their notes ... it's the perfect gift - so don't waste time - get started! The holidays will be upon us before you know it.
